The ship is nice and modern. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and activities were diversified. The trip to the village was fun with biking. There was a cooking class, squid fishing and Taichi onboard yet cooking and fishing were not very interesting. We prefer relaxing on the deck with cocktails and watching the bay. Lan Ha Bay is calm and very beautiful.
The 1-night tour means you have 24 hours onboard. We checked in at around 1 pm and checked out at around 9:30 am the next day. That was short and a bit rushed for a relaxing trip. Food was amazing and well presented. The cabin was nice and the bathroom was well equipped. There was a comfortable tub with a sea view as well. We wish we had booked 2 nights.
My family had an excellent time. Thank you for your dedicated service. Food, program, and accommodation were all good. Shout out to the whole team. We will come back soon!
The vegetarian menu was very tasty. Special thanks to Jennie to be very attentive and caring. The other members did a good job too. We had 2 nights on Doris Cruise with lots of experiences such as swimming, visiting a village, kayaking, biking, etc. A minus in the whole trip was the drinking water. There needed to be more drinking water included rather than only 2 bottles per room. The price of water and other drinks was high.
The cruise offered great hospitality. We felt at home with the staff and the well-equipped cabins. Our room was large and neat. The bed was big and the mattress and pillows could not be more comfortable. The guide was friendly and kind. Jennie took care of our meals well. The food was okay yet not outstanding. We expected higher quality on such a luxury cruise. Overall, this is a worth-trying experience. The bay view was incredible.
Doris Cruise was a great company. We had a very well managed tour and the staff supported my family at any time onboard. Our cabins were on the 2nd level and they had an interconnected door and an amazing view from the balcony. Food and drinks were yummy although you should expect the drink cost to be high. The itinerary included a variety of activities. We swam, kayaked, and visited a cave on the water by a local rowing boat. Would recommend the cruise!
Thanks to the team, we had a great stay. The staff was nice, helpful and always went out of their way to accommodate our needs. James and Jennie were the most outstanding! Our Junior Suite was spacious and clean. Food was amazing and my diet was very well taken care of. Once again, thank you so much!
