Option 1: Hanoi - Tuan Chau pier via new highway 5B
This is the most effective way of transfer since you will drive on a high-quality road which shortens travel time considerably. From Hanoi downtown, you drive to Chuong Duong bridge then join the new highway 5B and Halong - Hai Phong Expressway to reach Tuan Chau pier after about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Option 2: Hanoi - Tuan Chau harbor via national road No.18
This option takes a longer time but you do not have to pay tolls. From Hanoi center, you drive to the Sai Dong area then follow national road no.5 to Hai Duong city. Continue to drive on national highway no.18 to Tuan Chau harbor, Quang Ninh province.

It is situated in the center of Bai Chay ward, in close proximity to the Sun World entertainment complex. Option 1: Hanoi - Halong international cruise port via highway 5B
The distance from Hanoi to Halong international cruise via highway 5B is 158km which takes you 2 hours and 30 minutes to arrive. From Hanoi Old Quarter, you cross Vinh Tuy bridge to Ring Road 3 then follow the new highway 5B and Halong - Hai Phong Expressway to Halong international cruise port.
Option 2: Hanoi - Halong international cruise port via national road no.18
It is 159km from Hanoi to Halong international cruise port if you choose to drive on national highway 18 and the total travel time is quite long, nearly 4 hours. The drive that takes you through Hai Duong city then Quang Ninh city is the shortest way.
Hanoi to Hon Gai harbor

The second option to reach Hon Gai harbor is slightly longer at 158km and you have to spend around 4 hours reaching the destination.
Hanoi to Got pier
Location: 356 Road, Cat Hai district, Hai Phong city

The distance between Hanoi and Got pier is 126km and you have to spend around 2 hours and 5 minutes for this journey. From Hanoi downtown, you get to Chuong Duong bridge then Co Linh street to access highway 5B. After that, follow the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen bridge to reach Got pier in the Cat Hai district.
